no, you will need about 3 quarts of gear oil for the rear AND that friction modified fluid... add the modifier first

ORIGINAL: 2 kwik

add the modifier after the first qt.
or, you could add 1/2 qt, pour the modifier into the half empty bottle and shake it up, then add the mixed modifier and oil together

If it comes with instructions it will likely say to soak or at least coat the friction disks with the modifier fluid. If you choose the right container, I'd just add it to a half a qt as mentioned above and put it in there that way.

Its easy. There are tough parts, it requires a little finess especially when it comes time to getting that spring back in there. Everyone has their own method. Best advice - Get a service procedure to follow. Ideally, someone who has done it before. If you have never picked up a carrier before - Enjoy! Its a lot harder to hold on to when its wet. You'll see what I mean.

I just replaced mine, use the shim thats in their dont forget it or you'll regret it. I didn't soak mine we forgot and now they chatter, it takes forever for the fluid to work back in 'em so soak them in the modifier first. Also, dont break that little 8mm bolt off or you're going to have a helluva time. Be very careful.
