Have a friend or someone that knows what they're doing take a look at it for you. If you had the time, the work isn't that bad, but if you need it for a daily, have a daughter to drive around, and don't know what you're doing, I'd sell it fast.

Didn't you look at it or drive it before you bought it? Buy some Flowmaster 40's and have them welded in, that'll quiet it down some if it has straight pipes or 1-chamber mufflers on it now. I would imagine the heater core was bypassed for a reason....I bypassed mine b/c one of the heater tubes broke off. I would change it back before you have a passenger side floorboard full of coolant. The core is only 25 dollars, but a major pain in the *** to install.

Unload it! I got mine for $3600 with only minor wear/tear trouble. You'll be putting way more than 2k in to that nightmare box and you can't risk it when you're hauling your family around.

I did have to do a core in mine within the first 1000 miles though... Kinda goes with owning a Fox as far as I can tell.

well i will be driving hailey around in my grandmas car honda crv lol untill things get fixed u guys have no idea how much i like this car i will take some pictures underneath so u can just see how loud it is and the motor what im dealing with with that. i just need to know one thing well first of all he gave me 2 keys he said ones for the door and other ignition well that was a lie only one key works and its for the ignition i cant open hatch trunk the button dont work either hailey will be ok in the crv till i get this car rolling nicer with heat. now remember i love the car its staying so just give me a hand here should i fix the door keys by replacing them fix heat or transfer title first i make 550 every 2 weeks take home after 401 med den child support LOL how do i find out if my car is a canada car? i know i talk in circles but please help

on the car, 160,000. on he motor under 5,000. It was bored 30 over, new eagle crank and rods. world steel cast heads. heads were ported and polished along with intake. BBK throttle body and spacer. flowtech headers and h-pipe, Flowmaster mufflers. 3inch. Trans is a C-4 with shift kit and new 1st and 2nd gears. Rearend is stock (the only thing i never changed on the car) front suspension is all new (except inner tie-rod ends) crossed drilled rotors in front, new drums and shoes in the back. There was rust over rear fender walls (normal for these cars) was fixed in July 06. the motor was Dyno'd at 375HP. The only thing the car needs is the right gear.

Well, i'd say if you got a good deal on the car and knew how fix everything yourself, i'd say keep it. But the way it sounds, i'd hope you was making about a thousand or so selling it for 1600. Car has obviously not been maintained and its untelling what all has been rigged up on it. From the description, you'd be better off to strip the car completely and start over. A good idea would be to get rid of that headache before it starts. ( I wouldn't recommend selling it to a friend either)
