i want to puta setof frp 42lb green tops and a lightning 90mm maf in my 5.0 ho is it hard to change the injectors on the 5.0 and do i need any kind of adapter for the 90mm maf, im taking it to get tuned and want the injectors in before i give to the guy he"ll put on the maf cause he has to tune for it and i need to drive it there first.

you can just buy a granatelli 90mm maf, instead of getting a lightening. but the only one i could find was for 19lb so yould have to get it recalibrated. not so sure about the injectors

its not too bad....once you pull the upper intake manifold...the fuel rails will be lookin at ya. Definately let the tuner install your MAF ...she wouldn't go too far if you tried driving it

I hope youve got some BIG mods to be using those injectors... a semi-stock motor will stumble with 24# injectors.. nevermind 42's

I was about to ask the same thing regarding the mods.

I had 30's on, with a 73 MM MAF, when I put on the SC. I'm going to 42's now, and that's becuz I did a stroker h/c/i.

Didnt ya know! its the latest secret, 90mm Lightning MAF's when combined with 42 # injectors on a stock or near stock engine will give you 50 hp, when you get them tuned right, but it only works if you know nothing about cars.

the tuner said that i should get those before i do the tune, it has full exhaust and a vortech v-1 10 psi and a handle full other things. thanks a bunch guys.

well the lighten maf isn't calibrated to any injector size.., this is done via puter or chip...so unless you have a 'puter chip to make calibrations it's useless...
also when asking question in put more info as we can't tell you **** with out it
