Default Building a 302 the right way?

Hey guys hows it goin? I have been working on cars with my dad for quite some time now and in my experience the 5.0l 302 responds to modfications farely well. I have been told by many people what to do and in my research this is what I have found. I have searched around the net for diff parts and getting different prices. Alot of local guys with 5.0's sugest buying these items for my 5.0: Intake with K&N, 70mm throttle body, new intake manifold, better cam, underdrive pulleys, bigger injectors, headers and exhaust. I have priced this around the net and it always comes out to around 2000$ This is a fair price to me because the stock 5.0's I belive have around 225hp and everyone promises me (including the companies) around a 90hp increase with these items. Im not sure what the curb weight on a 90 mustang lx is but 315hp is a nice number. Guys I am open to every suggestion and please lead me in the right direction for my car. Everyone has told me that the stock internals will handle all these parts just fine. Let me know your thoughts fellas. Thanks
