Widest tire size on pony's

i was wondering what is the widest size tires that i could put on my car with pony's without buying spacers, and without rubbing. thanks

I would stick with a max of 245. I tried a 255 once and had a lot of side to side play that made the rear feel very loose.

i have 275's in the rear and 245's up front on 9.5in rims. works just fine except the front tires rub on the CA's when i hit a BIG speed bump but thats it.

I'm running 245/50's on all 4 corners on my 90.... The front passenger rubs a little, but it has a little body damage and is bent in slightly. The driver's side clears just fine.
