computer/chip question

Default computer/chip question

we'll i am rebuilding my motor ported gt-40 heads,trickflow intake,roller rockers,24# injectors,70 mm tb,76 maf, .030 forged trw's ,cam?,full exhaust and bolt-ons, some people tell me that i need to send off my computer to have somebody reprogram it, and some tell me that i just need to have someone just burn me a chip for my car can anybody lead me in the right way thanks

take it to atuner have em throw it on the dyno and burn you a chip, probably about 500 bucks.

get it dyno tuned and get a custom chip burnt. But don't get the chip until you're done modding or else you're going to be wasting moeny getting it reburnt or getting a new one when you make more changes.

Of you can spend $380 and get a tuner to make the changes yourself.

Either way, you don't ahve to send your computer anywhere.

Don't buy a chip from a shop that has not seen your car. To do a chip right your car has to run ona dyno.

The tweecer is a good option, but there are other alternatives...

In all honesty though, your car should do pretty well with the A9* computer you already have. A custom tune would be better, but the factory programming should do pretty good.
You may not need a tune until your cam gets pretty lopey.

im looking for the specs on the steeda #19 samseed went to that link it doesnt tell you the specs on the cam any body know somebody has to know thanks
