There are only 13 1979 mustangs registered on this site and im the only one that actually has an active acount
Are the 79' Ghia hatchbacks rare?

Well they were not rare in production numbers, but over the year they haveve been scrapped and most have rotted out over time. Another reason is that they didnt have good motors in them to start out with to make power since the motors were smog pigs and such But a 79 notch Ghia is the LIGHTEST fox they ever made period!

I never see '79's around here. Mainly just '86+.
