Looks great. Does the factory speedo cable hook right up? How will the calibration for it be? Anything need to be done to it?

I wish I had known about it when I did mine.[:@]

OH, yea I totally agree, I just don't like the gauge panel/holder. This is what I plan on buying when/if I ever go that route. http://www.mc-machine.com/87dash/87dash.htm
Beat me to it.

florida50 is nice but 600 is alot of money.

The speedo is a long story. The factory cable does not have the right fastener for the aftermarket gauge. I had to rob the fastener off the gauge end of the cable that the car came with (obviously the right one) and crimp it onto a replacement factory cable tube. I have no idea where the original came frombut I guess all you gotta do is take a look at the back of an Autometer speedo and then find a stock or custom cable for it. I just haven't looked into it. I counted the drive gear teeth on the tremec and then ordered the closest driven gear I could. It was still off about 8 MPH or so and the damn gear keeps stripping where the cable goes into it. I can't get rid of the cable tension without a significantly longer cable so screw it. I am going electric. Willing to part with my mechanical soon, will let the interested know more another time.

The electric speedo is sweeeet. You just tap into the factory OSS (output shaft speed sensor) signal and the gauge will adapt to any signal -analog or digital. Get someone in a bike to ride next to you at 40mph and it will calibrate itself.

The $600 is all in the gauges. I was pricing out all 6 gauges and came up with around $375. The only thing that would make the price go higher is an electric speedo, which is double the mechanically driven one. (~$200 vs ~$100) So all in all if you did get the MC Machined panel and gauges you could get it for $525-$625 plus shipping and senders. *By the way, you can get the MC Machined panel in anodized black, for those who aren't down with the alum.*
