Then why do you think they called it the 5.0 HIGH OUTPUT engine if it didn't make lots more HP and Torque?????

so how much is enough for you????
and why don't you think that a cam and heads along with some other touches couldn't make 60 more HP in the same size engine????

just to give you some idea of the differences, check this out:
5.0 HO valve lift- intake= 0.4420" standard 5.0 = .3776"
5.0 HO valve lift- exhaust = 0.4420" standard 5.0 = .3934"
combustion chamber volume in CC's: standard 5.0 = 67.5-70.5
5.0 HO = 60.6-63.6 (higher compression ratio results from these smaller chambers)
valve spring pressures: intake: standard 5.0 = 194-214 lbs @ 1.36" compressed length
5.0 HO = 211-230 lbs @1.33 "
exhaust: standard 5.0 = 190-210 @ 1.20"
5.0 HO = 200-226 @1.15"
take into account the cam profile is much more agressive on the 5.0 HO and you can start to see why the HO makes gobs more power can't you?
