300whp. on a daily driver....but, i plan on havin 2 vehicles, so, say, 350whp(but, probably more. i aint decided yet). haha. idk. i just never thought itd be that much of a difference, cuz, i didnt know exactly what was different between them til now. so, i apologize for my stupidity !!!! [>:] i prolly shoulve known that b4hand though.......

RE: 5.0 questione
just to give you some idea of the differences, check this out:
5.0 HO valve lift- intake= 0.4420" standard 5.0 = .3776"
5.0 HO valve lift- exhaust = 0.4420" standard 5.0 = .3934"
combustion chamber volume in CC's: standard 5.0 = 67.5-70.5
5.0 HO = 60.6-63.6 (higher compression ratio results from these smaller chambers)
valve spring pressures: intake: standard 5.0 = 194-214 lbs @ 1.36" compressed length
5.0 HO = 211-230 lbs @1.33 "
exhaust: standard 5.0 = 190-210 @ 1.20"
5.0 HO = 200-226 @1.15"
take into account the cam profile is much more agressive on the 5.0 HO and you can start to see why the HO makes gobs more power can't you?
