Default Conversion question

Ok so I broke down and bought a 5 speed 1989 2.3 Lx for $500. It already has the 5.0 appearance kit. I have a 1986 ford bronco with a EFI 302 motor in it. What would I need to do to take the 302 from the truck and drop it in the car. Thanks

Default RE: Conversion question

if i were u i would avoid anythin to do with the 1986 5.0 that year. ford made it so crappy, with the worst pistons ever and the heads suck, u cant mod it for those reasons unless u want to completely tear it down however i dont kno for sure if they were in every model that year so. jsut get a a 87 or newer 5.0 they are not hard to find. and u will need motor mounts, a new trannny, a new rear, and a clutch, driveshaft, and thats all i can think of

good luck

Is the rear end tranny and clutch mandatory in the conversion if my car is a 5 speed manual.
