89 Gt with stock motor andBBKCAI. I noticed it has the blue injectors(24lbs). It has the stock throttle body and stock MAF.
I am wondering if it would be beneficial for me to get a bigger TB and MAF. If so, what size/setup. Also, is it worth buying a new EGR plate? Not really planning on any drastic future mods so keep this in mind. Just want it to run better.

there is no way your running 24# injectors on a stock maf unless your computer is chipped... so it looks liek you need to pull your ECM and make sure its not chipped

The guy I got it from said it had a differentcomputer. I'm not too familiar with this, just going by thathim sayingit was the stock MAF. That's about all I know.

the previous owner may have converted to a 93 Cobra computer/maf/injectors.

check the part number on the MAS (maf sensor).

It should read 'F1ZF' or 'F1SF' or 'F2VF'

This will give us a clue...

if its a different computer and running on 24# injectors, you more than likely have a 93 cobra ECM... what i would like you to do is pull open your passenger side kick panel and get the model number off your ECM

it SHOULD be X3Z if its a cobra unit

My computer is a X3Z and the MAF reads F1SF 12B579-AA. How do I tell if I have a stock TB? I don't see any writing on it.

realistically, upgrading to anything else right now would be a waste of money. The biggest intake restriction on a stock fox is the 55mm maf, which you dont have

get more mods in other places before you worry about the TB
