Default got a free 302 block
well i got a free 302 block but it turns out its a non roller. does anyone know how i can determine what year it is? also is there any benefits of a solid cam? any things about them?

pre 85 is all i know....one good thing is you can rev higher without floating the valves!

i was shifting at 6000-6500 with my old set-up so i would hope to shifter than that with a solid cam

84 and lower stangs came with the solid. 85 came out with the hydrolic roller stuff. gotta love 85's except for the 7.5 rear [:@]
