It is going to be hard to convince everyone that these two motors are "equal" if ones N/A and ones FI. With a total shot in the dark, im going to say FI just because you should have a little better accel. under boost.

I'm going to say that from a dig (at the tree) the N/A car would win. The FI will be running as N/A while it builds to it's max boost level. Sure, it may not take very long, but every 0.001 of a second counts

That is if we are talking the same exact HP AND the same exact torque. (not to mention everything else like weight, driver, vehicle, etc.)

I would think boost would make it faster on accel

Same here, but just faster accel after a few seconds to stop the pull of the NA. I would think they would end up being equal but samseed explained things pretty well. I think!....that the NA would have a fender. Would the length of the race be a factor? after a little bit, wouldnt the NA stay constant while the FI continues to build boost and pull?

yeah but its not liek the fi car is gonna end up with any more power than the n/a car so if the n/a car is ahead with 400 horses, then the fi car a little bit behind when it hits 400 is gonna stay where it is ya kno?
