Default need help with my first 5.0..ford for that matter

i'll try to keep this short.i came across a '90 GT 5spd with a good amount of things done to it.A rebuild..not sure of displacement...plus,hooker super comp long tubes,BBK 70mm, edelbrock performer 5.0, ford SVO 1.6 roller rockers,trickflow heads...the cam im not sure on..i was told E303. i bought the car from a friend of a friend.who didnt actually do the mods.so im taken the front of the motor apart to see for sure My question..how do i figure out the injector size?? the tops of them are an orange/peach color..if that means any thing. also has a C&L 73mm the sensor marking..E9ZF-12B579-AA, AFH55-03, 9K23. thanks for you help...

Those are yellow tops, which are 19 lb/hr injectors

+1 sounds like you are running the stock 24lb injectors. And congradulations on your first 5.0!

LoL yea, 19lb'ers are stock.... typo! lol I was thinking about recommending if he did any more mods to upgrade so I guess thats why I typed that lol my bad.

well that was my next question...24#'s would be the better way to go? what about aftermarket chips.. worth the money?

aftermarket chips are not worth the money, get a dyo tune, and you will be happy. You are fine with the 19's for now, but anything more and you will probably want to step up

dyno tune??fill me in on that..you dont mean actual dyno run do ya? sorry... im gonna put a F303 in will the 19's still be good enough? and thanks again!!

Yes he mean a "dyno run" also called a tune, most dynoes nowadays are a test and tune, they run the can, make adjustments(tune it) and run it again, take it to a dyno with an air-fuel monitor.....
