Default How many CFM do I need?

So, my electric fan is dead apparently. Looking to replace it with something THIN on the cheap. I've seen an electric slim 12" that's rated at1500CFM, but I dont know if that's enough or a large enough area. Any suggestions?

All good, but here's my situation:

That's why I need it as thin as possible. Any idea what fan that is on there now? Never seen one like that before.
