Default grey smoke

Whenever I'm under full throttle, grey smoke billows out of my exhaust on my 88GT. It doesn't smoke any other time, so I don't think it's a piston ring. Any ideas?

I bought the car a couple of weeks ago, but I was going to do an oil change tomorrow. I haven't checked the coolant, but that's a great idea. As far as being low, I just put oil in it a few days ago, and I know it isn't burning oil that fast.

I say it's blowby past your piston rings. Mine does the same thing at high revs...although I wouldn't say that it "billows" so much as "puffs." I go through a quart of oil every 12-1500 miles. I bet your car goes through some oil too.
