are moser 28 spline axles worth it?
hey im about to put 3.73 gears and rebuildthe trac loc in my car and i was wondering if i should throw in some moser axles while im at it. so is it worth getting the hardened 28 splines compared to the stock 28 splines? i would get 31 spline but thats out of the questionright now becausei dont have enough money for a new differential

why would I need new gears? Everyone knows that used gears are already worn, and if you dont re-align the gears perfectly, they will howl something fierce!

thats for sure, i got used 373's and when im cruisin in 4th u have to turn the radio up real loud just not to hear the wine. but soon enough im goin 456's and they will properly installed new.

thats exactly what I have done with my car. I didnt see the point of buying a set of gears, and paying to have them installed.... just to buy a new set of gears and have them installed with the 31 spline axles

4.56's.... hrmm I hope your running a high revving motor and 30" tires, otherwise your gonna be trapping in 5rd gear

the motor im hopin to build wil rev to about 6200-6300 and im gonna get the pony r rims, which i believe they are 15's and 16's. so im not sure what tires im runnin yet.

so what do u think adder, what would be good tire for the street/strip. hte car wont be a drag car, but it will make the occasional trip down. the rims im prob gonna get are the 15's. so adder i ask u, what tires would u recommend?
oh and sorry to jack the thread. i think that u should run wut u brung till u got the time and money to make it good. to the original poster.

**** that, im getting the 28 spline mosers... hell if trust stock axles w. DRs, lol.. there not that expensive ne way...n axles are easy as hell to put in...
