Default Speed Density Tuning

Hey,
I have a 1987 gt that runs like hell since I put a few mods on it and I hope someone can help me.
Mods include....

-E303 cam
-cobra intake
-65 mm throttle body

I know some of you are going to tell me to convert to mass air, but I was hoping someone can give me some pointers on how to tune my s/d. Any help would be appreciated.

honestly the only thing is to get it dyno tuned, the e cam is meant for maf, but it has been used quite a bit with sd, the only other thing is to put a carb on it.

yeah the only real thing you can do is tuning, but save urself alot of hasswle and bite the bullet and just get the maf conversion. itll save u alot of time especially if ur going to put more mods on.

MAPs(Manifold Air Pressure aka Speed Density) is for tuners, thats what my buddy with his 300zx uses. maf is recommended for any upgrades on our cars

well heres my opinion... 1. i wont tell you to switch over, i dissagree w. that. i have an 88, its sd and im gonna keep it that way(plans include heads, kenne bell, etc...). 2. your only real problem is that cam, if i were you, the easy way out would be to put a SD compatable cam in it(check the stickys), but you can make it work like it is...but ur gonna wanna hit up a dyno...

a no a decent bit about sd(just because its what i have, and i plan to stick w. it) so n e other questions... ill try to help

i dont no the specs on that cam really... what are they? i no that most problems w. sd are cam related tho. sd relies on the vac created by the stock, or simmilar cams to run everything right... in the stickys it says what will work stock, and i imagine u can get w.e. u want to work, dunno how ur idle quality would be tho, id imagine not great...
