Default sn 95 starter on fox

has any body put a sn 95 starter on a foxbody if so any problems

I just went to install mine and found there is a soleniod on the starter to. SoI made a jumper wire for it and now it sounds, as if the starter momentarily hesitates before it engages or as it disengages. I'm not sure which though. You can hear a grinding noise when you hit the key and as you let off. But the starter itself sounds different. Could having 2 solenoids in the circuit or using the jumper wire becausing this?

smaller to keep it farther away from the header heat. I think it is a higher torque version to.

mines actually cranks faster, but the starter stays on for like a second after the car has been started... i dont know hwo to solve taht. its a high torque mini starter i got frmo ebay.

mine just seems to act like the gear stay engaged to the fly wheel for a split second and it makes a grinding noise. It actually doesn't sound like the teeth are meshing correctly. but a sn95 flywheel is the same part number as a fox
