Default Fox rear disc conversion WITHOUT a master cylinder upgrade? okay??

Hey guys, has anyone had any expierence with putting rear discs onto thier fox Mustang without upgrading that master cylinder to a larger bore?? Thanks a lot guys cya

You are doing a brake upgrade.......why wouldn't you want to UPGRADE THE MASTER CYLINDER? DUH YES!!!!!! Remember with rears discs you will be pushing more fluid. I got the Cobra Master Cylinder, when I did mine.

yes i plan on upgrading the master cylinder as soon as possible. but until i can get one/find one/get one shipped do you think it would be ok to drive? or will it be WAY too much pedal travel? thats wht im asking

I wouldn't want to drive on a comprimised brake system while waiting for a part..........Keep it stock until you have everything for the swap....just looking out for your safety.

pick up a 1984-1986 mustang svo master or a 1983-1992 lincoln mark 7 master and also upgrade to the svo/lincoln calipers in the front

or u can use the sn95 but if u get one from the parts store it doesnt come with a res.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but a '93 Cobra master should bolt right up and is for 4 wheel discs.

It's also $89 *new* (not a remanufactured) at Advamce Auto with no core charge.
