Default which tires to buy?

I just bought a set of used weld racing 16/8 wheels and they need new tires. they came with 225/55/R16 goodyears, and when I bolted them up, they looked tiny on the rear of the car. I have about 1 inch to spare on the inside rear, and I would like someting a little taller to fill in the wheel well. just wondering if you guys know what size I need, or even just what brand to buy. I like the nitto's but there too expensive. the other sucky thing is i bought FRPP 1 inch lowering springs, and I cant even tell its been lowered any ideas on how to fix the rideheight with out buying new springs? The car looks like its 4 wheel drive, gay. Thanks

I go with P255 5016 that will fit ur 16x8 rim that shouldfillin the gap nicely. For tires I would reccomend some ET streets if u can afford themthey get great tractionon dry pavement at both thestrip and street but not so good in the rain
