What is the effect of having smaller gaps?

 

With nitrous you want a smaller gap because the nitrous rushing into the cylinder chamber can actually blow the spark out.

i have a msd blaster coil taylor 9mm wires msd distributor cap and rotor button and autolite25's gaped at 45 i had 24s gapped at 40 but it was to cold for a n/a car so i stepped up and it seemed to help on the dyno a little by like three hp and 4tq
