Default do you need your quad shocks

i just put 17x9 rims on my fox body and they look good. the fronts went on good and no problems but the back was another story. when i put the rims on they were hitting the quad shocks, so i took the quad shocks off and then fit real nice and no rubbing. so i was wondering if you needed your quad shocks or not?

let me know

Ive got 17x9 and Im running quads with no problems. I also have upper/lower arms and I still run them and I dont have any problems with wheel hop, rubbing or anything.

the quad shocks he had on there were aftermarket also. so they were a little bigger than the stock ones so flipping was out of the question.and nick, i still say look for some stockers and throw them on there untill you get different control arms. and hey, what size rear tires are you guys running with the stock quad shocks still on?? hes got a 245/45/17 on the rear right now.
