i have control arms and sub frame connectors, will dr's make all the difference?
they will help but slicks are the best thing at the strip. you could also change to drag springs front and rear, move the battery to the back and install an adjustable pinion snubber to help get better weight transfer at the hit and thus better traction.

yeah gramps?*L*
if this is a fox a set of front 4 banger spring will do the trick...the subframe won't help trackion so much as help the from body flexing

roundman whats a pinion snubber?
this is a pinion snubber
http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...bber&x=19&y=13
it replaces the stock snubber and being adjustable, allows you to move the rubber bumper down closer to the nose of the rear end which limits the amount of rotation the rear can have when under hard WOT acceleration. when you stomp on the gas from a stop, the pinion gear attempts to climb up the ring gear which causes the whole rear end housing to rotate upwards in the front. stopping the rotation lifts up on the chassis helping weight transfer which helps plant the tires better and prevents wheel hop too! this is the first rear end mod I made and it works well. kind of like a poor man's four link. you might have to trim the rubber nose off some to get sufficient clearance when you raise it back up when not at the track since when it's lowered, you will hit it with every bump you ride over on the street. it bolts right in place of the stock snubber which is way too short to do much to stop the rotation of the rear end, it's more for stopping the rear end from hitting the chassis over large bumps in the road. with one of these, you can remove the outside quad shocks too as they are no longer needed to prevent wheel hop which give you more room for a wider rear tire too.
and the subframe connectors help too by stiffening the chassis so that the wasted motion of twisting the chassis is converted to applying more torque to the rear end to accelerate the car better. solid motor mounts and shock tower braces also contribute to eliminating wasted twisting of the chassis too for better acceleration.

you can try these traction bars for your car im sure they will help with planting your tires to the ground pretty good. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...42&prmenbr=361
