Default TPS

sometimes when i start my car whether it be cold orat operatingtemp, it will jump from 500 rpm to 1000 rpm a couple times before leveling back to normal.\
is that the tps going bad?

could be coolant temp sensor - EEC uses this to adjust whether its in cold start-up mode or not

could be bad TPS

could be bad IAC.

my bet is on bad/worn IAC
try installing new IAC module, they're pretty cheap.
