Default just hit it with a hammer...

thats what the manager of the shop i used to work at told me on how to get the tie rod end off....
turns out that didnt work and niether will anything else... anyone else got any tricks or know magic?

dont hit the threaded shaft, hit the spindle where it's going into. 2 or 3 good whacks itll pop right out.

i did that and it didnt come out.... and the pickle fork thing my rim is stuck on so when i put it on i have to go in at an angle and it just hits the backing plate, i think ive tried everything

I usually smack the knuckle where the tie rod goes into the spindle even on a E-450 they pop right out
I suggest get a bigger hammer

exactly thats the only way i do it if you hit it from the bottom on the threaded shaft you will compress the threads and it will be no good unless your replacing them its ok get something like a 5 pound mini sledge

take the wheel off first duh thats your problem right there theres not enough room for you to get a good swing at it
