no electrical at all!! i hate wiring!!! *HELP*
ok well i was driving my car the other day and when i went to start it the starter wouldnt stop. like it was getting electricity and wouldnt stop. so i tried drivin it home like that and the start froze and killed the motor.. or so i thought.i just went out and put the car on the charger and it says that the battery is fully charged. and i know the charger works because i have charged the car with the same charger before. i check both the position connection on the battery and the coil - seems fine. and then the same with the negative on the battery and the block- again looks ok.i dont have anything at all, not even a horn or my radar detector from my cig lighter.i suck with wiring and HATE eletricity, so any ideas would be very helpful! Thanks.

Either your solenoid got stuck, or you got a short to power in the starter circuit that bypassed your ignition switch. Take the starter off and bench test it. Also check your fuses, thats most likely your problem with your other things, and a short would definatly cause that.

Yes the solenoid can cause the starter to hang up. Also, it could be hanging up on the flywheel not allowing the armature to go back in. If the armature is hung, it will continue to run until you take off one of the battery cables. As far as no power, get a multimeter and check for voltage at the fuse box.

ok so im going to go check fuses, and as for the starter.. im sure i need a new starter anyway because i bet that gear is stripped pretty good, but im going to take it off before i go buy a new one. and ill prolly end up getting a new solenoid either way.update in a minuet. Thanks guys!

You have something that's called fusable links that run to the starter relay. If you fried them, that will cause the problem. You better also hope you didn't ruin the flywheel driving the car w/ the starter engaged.
Top right hand corner, fusable links.
