yeah Im planning on dedicating an entire day to the project just to play it safe.

Can I just make sure that the timing chain goes back on the EXACT way it comes off? Will there be anything wrong with using this method?

That will be fine. See where the dots are, that's what you want.


Oh and you may need a gear puller to get the crank gear off. Also, stuff some rags in the front of the o/p to keep any debris from falling into the pan while your cleaning the surfaces.
