my check engine light
my check engine light comes on sometimes... i grounded the wire next to the brake master, and the code flashes on the dash.... but it blinks once, and once and once and once again... 4 different blinks.. and then blinks 3 and then 8 for a code 38, and then it flashes twice, and twice again ...
im having troubles finding out what it is... map sensor or something
i tried to search the forum and get the answer but the search was unsuccsessful

the car is a 91 gt, and its all stock exept a knn air filter.....
i went to auto zone, and they got the same thing as me, but the guy didnt know much...
i went to pep boys and they wanted 100 bucks
can somone give me a link to idenify the codes

Does it come on while driving and turn itself off and on randomly? Also, if it's on and you turnteh car off then back on again, does the light go off for a min or so before coming back on? If so, check the O2 sensors.
Of course, it could be a LOT of things, but that's fairly common.
