what is the best wet & snow grip tire for a 5.0 GT other than winter tires? I drive all year and this is my only transportation. From your experience what would be the best recommended tires.. I always put about 200 pounds of extra weight in the hatch, but still want to know what all year tire would help the most? My Goodyear Eagle RSA's are at the end of their tread life so I will need new tires soon.

Toyo proxies are a very good all season radial.

Those proxies have some really good ratings across all categories. I like them but want to know real world driving improvements with these or other brands. If you noticed better driving grip in these conditions let me know. Thanks.

if your are gonna run winter tires you are not going to want to to run say...17-18 inch rims with rediculously low profile tires...you need to get a set of 14 or 15 inch steel rims and run a 215 or 225 75r all season or winter radials. Those low profile tires are not "soft" enough with the amount of pressure they take. they also can not be aired down easily for better traction. being Rear Drive with a short wheelbase already makes you at a dissadvantage.

Buy some 10 holes(you can pick them up cheap), put some snow tires on them, put them on your car when it snows. That way you can have the best of both worlds.

60% of cars come with low pro tires, and most have all season tires on them, most car today run 16's or 17's or better with a45-60 profile. you can get around just fine with a good set of all seasons tiresof those sizes.Just know if you drive aggressively you will whined up paying for it! Yeah running pizza cutter tires with higher profiles can and will help, but the car are not really mean to drive in the winter! but they can be, you just have to take the extra steps your self. Goodyear Michelin andContinental have good all season tires to name a fewbut can be spendy. Your best bet would be to read upfrom manufacture, or to find someone at a tire shop THAT KNOWS HIS STUFF!! an see what they say, and $$$ is always a good place to start as for as what you budget is ..
