I have 3.90 gears too. I am running a built AOD but I dont know my top speed. I did get clocked doing a 93 mph in a 60mph speed zone. Dont worry ticket was only $250.00........plus over nite stay at a hotel!!! OUCH!!!!!!!!!

Guys, How does HP have anything to do with Gearing? If you have a 1000 hp or 20... Gear ratios are gear ratio's no matter what. This is all RPM dependent, Transmission Ratio Dependent, Rear End Ratio dependent and Tire HEIGHT dependent... HP/ Torque make your car accelerate at different rates. (Simply put)

BTW, I run 3.55's and do 80MPH in 5th gear at about 2.5k

I kno wmy speedo is way off I think for a c-4 trans with 4.10 gears and 325/50r15 tires I need a 23 tooth gear

I like them very much and my top speed is over 250kph, buried the speedo once and it was still accelerating slowly, but thats too fast on the highway, so I slowed down

+1 It does not matter if you have a 4cyl 8cyl 20hp or 1000hp, in 4th gear(1 to 1) with 3.73s your speed will be the same no matter what HP you have. It will be more than 100mph.

what? u sure u dont have 4.56 gears? I have 4.10s and have gone over 100 in 4th with no problem with 26x8.5-15 et drags.
