in 1985 does mustang have 2 different 3025.0 motors? I thought this was the last year for carb'd motors but today I saw in a 85 3025.0 LX that it was a E.F.I HO can someone please explain this a.s.a.p? is there a difference between the GT motors and the lx? or the stick vs auto? any info on the 302 5.0 V8 motor this year would be awesome!

cant promise how acurate it is... i got it from here over the last half year or so...
it could be a very late production 85, or it could have been swaped over(more likley)

the gt came with the 600cfm holley the automatics were topped by a throttle body. the gt was producing 210hp and 270ft lb of torque and the automatics were pushing 170-180hp and 260ft lb of torque

it wasnt exactly a throttlebody... It was a modified carb that had fuel injectors... otherwise known as CFI

i know but is there two different 5.0s that year? I saw a 85 gt with this on the carb! " 5.0 liter 4V H.O and then today i saw an 85 LX with 5.0 E.F.I H.O. whats the difference? does the GT not have the part fuel injected and part carb? is it just a carb'd motor?

it must have been swapped i believe the year they started fuel injection was 1986 i dont think anytime in the 85 model
