Default valve cover Question

i am looking to buy chrome aluimnim valve covers i was told that chrome holds in heat . but the valve covers i am looking at is triple coat chrome aluimnim valve . is that true. should i just go with polish aluimnim . please let me know be for i buy . thanks

um. they're valve covers. if they're hot it doesnt make much difference considering your headers are like 2 inches away anyways.
