i bought some 87-93 lx taillightsabout 3 weeks ago and installed them like the a whole lot better than the gt.... that reminds me i need to put my gt tails on ebay.

So I finally got a set of LX taillights. I feel like it's changed the look of the car completely...for the better. I just read arecent thread [EDIT--actually, it was this thread] on these forums in which folks talked about getting LX taillights for $30. LOL. I wish I lived where they live. Yards around here all want $100-$200! I got mine for $130. OC California, I tell you. Anyway, here are some shots.

So I finally got a set of LX taillights. I feel like it's changed the look of the car completely...for the better. I just read arecent thread [EDIT--actually, it was this thread] on these forums in which folks talked about getting LX taillights for $30. LOL. I wish I lived where they live. Yards around here all want $100-$200! I got mine for $130. OC California, I tell you. Anyway, here are some shots.

By the way, those tails look REALLY good, especially knowing they came from a yard. Great job on picking up some really nice ones for less than half the price of new ones!

Hey twisted, you say you got those from a local yard... How hard are they to replace? Did you get all the hardware to install them too, or do they use the same hardware as the GT tails? The only problem that's keeping me away from getting the lx tails from a yard is not having the right stuff to install them with. Just curious how the installation process went. I assume you did the replacing yourself, so let me know how it went, how easy it is, and what all you had to have (if anything other than what you got from the yard) to install them. Thanks man.

Hey man its easy, you dont need anything special, they are a direct replacement, it took me about 45 mins b/c i had to take all the bolt from the GT's and put them on the LX
