Cam suggestions for my setup
I'm buying some trick flow twisted wedge heads and their upper and lower intake. I'm thinking of goin with a trick flow cam but i'm not sure which of their cams to go with. If anyone has this setup and wants to make a suggestion that would be great.

RE: Cam suggestions for my setup
If you're going to get twisted wedge heads and if you're oging to get their intake as well... why not just get their entire top end kit that comes with the cam plus all of the other stuff you'll need (gaskets, bolts, timing chain, cover, etc.) It will most likely save you a lot of money in the end and it will be much easier.
Here's a link to the kit for the 94-95 Mustang.

custom cams are worth their weight in gold

remember the TW heads require longer pushrods too.

FORD MOTOR SPORTS X CAM
i had a trick flow stage 1 cam.. put that x camshaft in it, and it was like night and day..
me myself.. i was alot more happier with the x cam, it ran alot better, but you can do what ya want too.
i had flat tops, with those same heads, and it cleared, so clearance wont be a problem.... but i would still check it to be sure.and i would call trick flow and ask them too.and tell them what kind of pistons you are running..( i dont think it will clear factory pistons..) i think if i remember right i had trw forged flat tops.. forgot the part number on them...i used the same springs that came with the heads too.
matter u fact, i still have it...
email me at arrid extra dry@ aol.com if your intrested in it
