Default fix a leaning seat?

I was wondering if there is a fix out there for a broken drivers seat. Mine leans on the right side more than it does the left side, almost like only one side of the back rest catches. Is there an easy fix or should I start looking for a replacemtn seat?

oh, it is for a 87 GT

replacements, i've already looked, you can try to fix bracket but hardly worth it. new seats or junk yard seats and reskin them.

no its the seat gearing thats busted. at least thats how mine was. its hardly worth fixing. the actualy mount broke out of the floor on mine but when i fixed that i found out the seat gear thing that leans it back was busted. i think thats what he means. its hardly worth fixing

Its called the "gangsta lean"... there was an article on MM&FF about a year ago (maybe longer) about this and how to fix it. Im sure its floating around on the net somewhere.

might be a spring or foam problem
if your in love with the seats then get a seat specialist to look at them
otherwise look for sn95 replacement seats (88-93 have flimsy seat rails and frames)
