Alright I'm finally looking at supercharger kits and I really like blower whine. Its seem though that all kits for my 94-95 gt are specifically made so they don't have the whining sound. I know the Vortech V-1 superchargers make a whining sound with their straight cut gears but they don't make a kit for my car with that head unit. Any help on an off the shelf supercharger kit that can get me the supercharger whine that I want?!

Here's a video of mine from this past summer (Procharger P-1SC. )sounded decent at idle but quiets down a bit at higher RPMs. Forgive the crappy quality sound and pic... it was taken with a diital camera. I'll use a camcorder to get a better version of it.

Anybody have a sound clip on the vortech v-2 supercharger? Also I've heard kenne bell kits and most of them don't make much noise at all as far as I know. However I've never heard one on an 5.0 so not really sure.

Idle while FTW, LoL. I have that idle whine mixed with that low rumble exhaust... it's a great combo that can be intimidating At WOT it won't matter anyway... you're already screaming by the opposition. Just let them pull up next to you at a red light, hear the idle, and stare straight ahead not wanting to get your attention.

Yea, whine is definetly VERY intimidating. The other dayI was crusing around my area and there was achevelle in front of me, sounded good but looked like absolute trash. The road turned into a two lane so I blew past the cars in front to get along side of the chevelle. We stopped at a red light and I couldnt even hear myself think over the blower whine, I faced my head straight and slowly pulled away!

LMAO, I remember last summer a VW Jetta with neon lights pulled up next to me. I'm assuming he couldnt hear my S/C whine at idle ebcause he had the standard issued fartcan exhaust. ******* was sitting there reving his engine like he had some badass car. Had to just shake my head and laugh at teh sound of a reving fartcan.

But of course I had to show him up just a little... I just reached over and gave two nice, loud, long nitrous purges (twin purge from near the windshield.) After that the revinning seemed to stop for some reason. Then we both just slowly drove off when the light turned green.

If you're setup right, you can "win" without even racing, lol.
