if you got 8 hours and basic set of hand tools you will be fine.

just take the dash out and remove the 2 bolts on the hvac case. slide the new core in and re-do the process backwards.

i make it sound soooo much easier than it is

there are a bunch of threads on it. i just did mine in 10 degree weather not too long ago and let me tell you, it SUCKS! but after i got it completed i think i could do it again no problem. its just hard to find everything you need to disconnect and unbolt the first time around but then you will never forget it. i would say do it if you got patients if not.....its up to you i guess

8 hours my a$$ it takes a good 4 if you have instruction and you can read em...maybe 5 to 6 if not, just depend how handy you are and i suggest a swivel 1/4 and 3/8. i bet if i were to do it again i could get it done in 3

FivePointOhh... I will bet my life earnings that you could not have a heater core in a fox body mustang replaced in under 4 hours... correctly.

yes you can hack it up in a few hours but i took my time and labled bolts, re-routed the heater wires and cleaned up the dash. anyone who takes the dash out and dosnt take the oppertunity to clean up behind there is a fool.

re-installing the dash is the hardest part.

you WILL have extra bolts too.. it happens
