Default Header Issues! help

I am installing MAC shorties and the holes for the bolts are not lining up with the motor... We are talking millimeters but at any rate not lining up. I can put in 1 bolt and that is it.. Has any body had this issue before? What did you do to resolve? Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just bend the darn things? Should I drill out the holes on the headers slightly bigger to compensate... I am fairly certain these are the correct ones for my 88GT... Beyond frustrated!!!

I did start from back forward... I guess maybe I need to know if this is normal.. if so then I am fine I guess and can deal.cope however if this is uncomon then I need to know if I should send back or what can be done to resolve.. I suppose I could just bend them. What would you do?

ok.. I pulled the header back off and matched it up to the gasket and the hole (back to front) back lines up but it gradually gets further and further off. but the time you get to the 8th hole (very first) it is off by at least 1/8 of and inch,.. Is this normal? Should I bore the holes out?

Get better headers. This is a common problem w/ flangeless headers.

BBK, w/ connecting flanges!!

Big difference
