Yes, you can hide the wires.... its not that hard. I did mine a few months ago. Here is a link to my cardomain. 3rd page. If you want more pics I have a ton more on my home computer (at work now) and I will post them up if you want. Let me know.

to clean up my engine bay i simply removed the engine...my wife pushes me and the car around now....at the track she can't push it much faster than 14.0 in the 1/4 though.
