hell i had a harder time getting the tube to come out. Glad i had my trusty dremel there to just cut it with. Next thing that needs to go is the a/c. And im pretty sure the bolt size is 9/16 adder. ill go check the bolt bags in the garage if you think im wrong.

I heard they're a biatch to get at too. Do you have to put in a bolt to plug them or can you just cut and pinch off the tube?

It took my almost three hours to get the tube and the heads bolted! What a PITA!!! That was about 1 1/2 of work.. 1/2 of drinking and an hour of picking up parts that I was throwing around when I was getting pissed I was also using air tools! I just took a cut off wheel to the damn tube, no clue how someone would get that tube off without a cut off wheel.... GOOD LUCK! And yes, the bolts are a huge PITA also. Hope you have small hands! lol

how about removing the motor mounts and dropping the engne a couple of inches...should open the gap between the firewall and heads a bit...

I know for a fact that the size bolt needed to plug the thermactor hole in the back of the head is 5/8"-11 and it shouldnt be any longer than 3/4"
