Default stuttering engine

I just took apart the engine in order to replace the lifters and now the engine is idling real bad and stuttering when driven. It was dark when I finally finished so I really didn't get a chance to check and see what the problem could be which is what I am going to be doing when I get home. I just wanted to see if anyone could help home in on the problem. I know it could be out of time, a plug could be switched, vacuum line may be on wrong or not on at all, fuel pressure regulator may have been bumped with the lifter swap. Anything else anyone can think of. It was running fine, fine being a relative term, before I took it apart. Thanks
Oh, and in case anyone is wandering I have searched for this problem and have noted what the problems/solutions were.

The MAF is plugged in but it could be dirty. I'll clean it when I get off work and see if that helps. The CAI tubing - is that the tubing going to/from the MAF to the TB?

Ok got all that checked and the engine is still acting crazy. The idle is going from 1000 to 2000 without me hitting the excellerator. I replaced the IAC and it is still doing it. I cleaned and put on a different MAF and its still doing it. The spark plugs still look good to me. The TB and TBS are both clean and in working condition. All vacuum lines are on correctly without any leaks and the FPR is working at 39 PSI. I'm starting to run out of options that I know of. I do know that there was condensation in the engine before I fixed THAT problem. I have changed the oil but I know there is still a chance that water is still in there. I plan on changing it again but if that doesn't work then I'm outta options.

What I hear sounds like a leak in the intake side probably caused by a gasket. Check your upper intake, also while you are at it run some codes instead of guessing.

get a cheap vac test gauge from Autozone and see how much
vac you are really pulling. That will tell you if you have a leak

Sounds like an intake leak to me.
