New list of mods!
Ihave around $800-1000...i want my car to get off the line fast
i was thinking...
-aluminum driveshaft and safety loop
-rear upper/lower control arms
-shocks/struts
-drag launch or 4cyl springs
-torque boxes
-valve body or shift kit
give me ur opinions and of is there anything else u suggest to buy (i would rather buy most of it now than doing it piece by piece)
PS i already have sub frames and DRs

RE: New list of mods!
You're not going to get that car out of the hole quick with the stock torque converter. Call up these guys and place your order! http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/ . RSW007 and I are running their custom built 3000 rpm Street Edge torque converter and we both love them. Mine was about $520 built and shipped to my door. I'd spend the rest of the money on either control arms or drag launch springs and torque boxes.

RE: New list of mods!
It's kind of hard to explain. It allows yourmotor to get into the power band quicker. It's almost like feathering a clutch in a manual, but with the stock one you don't really notice the performanceeffects.Themain purpose of them is to keep your car from stalling when you come to a stop. You will notice enormous performancegains with a good custom built torque converter with a (higher stalling) proper stall rating.
Here's some good converter basics!
