Are high flow cats on ur X or H enough to get you through emissions? (I'm in MD) I'm trying to get all this info together bc when I come back from school in may i'm changing clutch, rear gears, headers and mid pipe.

from what ive heard if they are new high flow cats they will outperform origional cats by as much as ten time so im gonna say that you should have no problem passing as far as cats are conserned. i have 3 friends 2 4runners and a 88 5.0 stang and they all passed with not a single cat. so im not positive but everyone says that high flows are not so great for performance but will definetly help alot with emissions.

I would love to go catless. My wallet would love that. Anyone have experience with emissions and no cats?

oh so urs was catted?? I'm trying to see if I could be safe without them. Does anyone have any emissions 'friends' in MD? Prices look so much prettier without cats[]

get the offroad one, and put the stock one in when you have to go for inspection, its only every 2 years for NJ maybe the same for you
