i was just going to say that, at first it sounded like a clutch or syncro but the more indepth he goes with the problem the more it sounds like a bent fork

when we say drop the tranny we mean pull it out, take the case apart and visualy inspect the forks

its gonna take some work...remove trans... open up the trans... know what your looking at so you can tell if somethings ****ed up ... remove/replace damaged parts, hope you can put it back together right... its not an easy task...

how much mech know how do you have?

umm not much... my motor swap i had help from 2 of my buddies but i do not know there knowledge in transmissions... i doubt it is anything near the point that i need... how much would i be looking at to take it to a transmission shop or mechanic that knows how to fix it?

a shop charges about 1200 for a rebuild if u take the tranny to them...so my guess is prolly 1000 maybe slightly less

i had the same problem, it may not be your clutch or you tranny your floor mat might be pushed up behind the petal i couldnt find the problem on mine and it was just that the whole time. i felt like such a retard
