i didnt know if anyone did it this way or not. i know what i have to do but just the parts i need i am not sure what i need to get, this guy kinda stumped me

I used a Lincoln Mark VIII fan, same basic fan

you need 10g wire from fan to good ground
10g wire with 30-40amp relay to starter solenoid
then i ran a 12g wire from relay thru firewall to fuse box
on lower dash for "switched" power source,
Fan comes on with the key, you can also put a switch in line
with that switched wire and be able to turn off fan with key on if needed

His way works the way you would expect a factory fan to work

I just hooked mine up on high and leave it on.

i used a taurus v6 fan..works good on my 380hp 302///keeps it about 180 whicj is what i have in a thermostat///i have mine in a switch i use..

I'm not a taurus fan myself. Tempos are cool, but tauruses not so much.
