OK this is my 2nd post and thanks for all the replysto the 347motor post. now i what to ask you guys about the tranny situation? What should i do should i run an AOD fully built with a 2500-3500 stall and a full manual valve body and anelectricover driveor should i just go with a Tremec TKO or like a G-Force T-5? i know if i do go with the auto i need an 4-speed so im pretty shure that limits me to an AOD. right? So like i said thanks bouchermband LTnoneand Jasperstang308and any one eles who replyed, it really helps.

TKO 600 especially if your going to run a 347.

T-6 would be my tranny of choice... But that may not suite you well for the strip.

 

see im not sure if i want a stick or an auto. I can drive a stick all day have been for a long time but never with 400HP's if not more in front of it. but an auto with full manual valve body is never going to miss a gear unlike me plus launching would be a dream unlike a stick, but i like to have all power at my hand and foot if you know what i mean and i think a 347 five or six speed would be a blast to drive around as a daily driver. so hard to pick!!

 

street or just track? i wouldnt want to go over 3000stall for the street but 2500 aint bad...it varies some.

well some swear the t-5 will do just fine, It didnt work for me so I bought the tko600, and its a blast to bang the gears and not worry about the thing falling apart
