I did get my clutch adjusted better, but my question is when adjustung the clutch, do I need to get the arm coming out of the tranny to pull closer to the front of the vehicle in order to get the pedal to release closer to the bottom of of the floor. btw, I have the steeda double hook quadrant and the firewall adjuster as well.

A tighter cable will engage the clutch higher up and a looser cable will engage it closer to the floor.

tm i have the same clutch cable on my car, be sure to use a jam nut, i went to the exhaust shop today and walked under the car as they put it on the lift and the threaded nut was one wrist flick from coming off and disabling my clutch.

I have done that, the jam nut below is where I am adjusting at this point, I am using the firewall adjustment for the fine tuning adjustment.
