5.0's That have raced New GT's COME IN!!!!!!!
ok in the street and strip post, i posted... that i raced a new gt... and beat it....and they are saying with the mods that i got that the other guy had tohavemessed up! so people that have raced one of those before tell me am i really able to beat one or did the guy really mess up.... what are there stock 1/4 mile time...
just so you know the 13.8 was with out the tko tranny, flywheel, and edel rpm2...
ok some specs.......1st gear 50, 2nd gear 88. 3rd almost 120... never did 4th

this is what i wrote in that thread...
We where on the freeway going about 50 we both took a glimps at each other and just took off started to pull away from him on 3rd.. at the end of 3rd wich is about 115 almost 120 i stoped... i took the next exit and he did too! so we just started to drive down the street regular.. a couple of revs here and there. and we find a nice straight away.. he didnt want to do it from a dig so from about 30 roll... there where no honks i just waited for him to take off first. as soon as he did i stomp on it go through 1st 2nd and i was about a car ahead of him hit 3rd and he stoped..... i was happy i have never ran a new gt..

sry that was to smokesricers lol.. forgot to quote... i was sayin cause i raced a 02 gt with just exhaust and intake and stock gears from about 50 mph.... i have headers,cam,intake,exhaust,throttle body, bumped timing, pro 5.0shifter, king cobra clutch, and 373's and only once by half a car..... the gears took away my top end but made it better off the line
