i check all my wires and they are all on there good. Could it be my harmonic balancer.
How did you check your wires? A harmonic balancer isn't just going to go bad all of a sudden and cause a horrible vibration. Do you still have the rubber distributer cover on your car? Does the car shake when its not moving? Did the car start shaking once you took it through the car wash?

So we know it isn't the driveshaft since it does it at idle when the car isn't moving. It started up suddenly right? There were never any signs of a vibration before you went through the car wash? Do you have the rubber distributer cover on the engine still?

So does it vibrate all through the rpm band? and it does it in neutral, so like said above its not driveline. It must be spark or something?.............

You might want to pop the cap off and make sure it is bone dry, only takes a minute, if its wet it will run horribly.

ya i already checked the distrubuter cap bone dry. And at about 3 grand it seems like it smoothes out a little on the virbations but still vibrates quite abit

ok so i started looking at it again. and my dad suggested to add heet to the tank and i did. and now it seems to be idling lower and when it is below 1 grand rpm right around 500 rpm it doesn't seem to vibrate as bad. i check the dirstubertor cap again and there is no moister.

ANY IDEAS.
need the car working to day. so i can drive to school tomarrow
thx

ok so i went to start it up again and i turned it over the first time didn't fire so i went to turn it over again and this time it just started clicking. nothing. so i thought maybe dead battery. so i went to jump start it and it barely turned over not even close enough to start.
